It’s rare for a new song to make you nostalgic, however, listening to IIja Alexander‘s new song has evoked this feeling right from the intro. His charismatic retro pop-inspired single ‘I’ll Wait’ has been reworked into a laidback, cocktail hour house anthem by renowned DJ Tâches (Green Monk Records).

Previously featured on House Music (read feature) with the LCAW remix of  Ilja’s track ‘Someday’, we said: “The original single’s noteworthy vocals have been kept intact, while a darker atmosphere is introduced. Think of a lover, corrupting their gentle significant other, while enticing them into a world of rhythmic dance floors and underground nightclubs.”

Tâches takes a more minimal approach vocally, but makes use of the mood of the atmospheric mood of the original, making it the perfect single to watch sunsets with. The track also plays around with more cool and breezy soundscapes making it the perfect companion for a night of lowkey, one on one time with plenty of wine.
